Wing Tsun and women

Unfortunately Wing Tsun like many other martial arts too is mostly dominated by males. The reason for this is based on the common prejudice that women are not capable of being equally able to train in martial art schools, fighting is a male territory, etc. In these mindsets it is all to often been forgotten that women are the weak gender and are thus subject to stronger men.

Why should then be self defence a domain only for males? Why then especially Wing Tsun? Wing Tsun is the ideal form of self defence particularly for women because it has the demand that everyone regardless of his of hers body strength and weight can be able to defend. The aspect of forcelessness is especially of great advantage for women because they can free themselves from their strength much more easily than men (Wing Tsun power principle:"Free Yourself from Your own force!") and at the same time are more sensitive and have better motion control.
The female weakness is now being converted to strength and provides a great amount of unknown self consciousness und a new approach to the own body.

The subject of "self defence for women" is unfortunately taken on very reluctantly, therefore we ask You to contact regarding this subject. We also offer individual or group solutions in order to break down any thresholds that are inhibiting the entry to this subject which is not very easy for women.
